Introducing SKRT

Our beginnings

SKRT started out as just a dream, created from a desire to make traveling better.

Five years ago, we were traveling through Vietnam. Of course we enjoy the city life, but we enjoy getting off the beaten path even more. Like many travelers, we found that the best way to forge our own journey is to have our own way to move; to have the freedom to go where we want, when we want.

Sometimes you gotta take the wheel and drive


Renting a scooter is the best way to unlock that freedom. Of course, getting your hands on a scooter is not always as easy as it should be, even with all the correct documents in hand. And when you get to a new country, you'll have to start the whole process over again. "There has to be an easier way," we often thought. If we have these thoughts, surely others must as well. How can we change the transportation industry? How can we make life better for travelers and locals alike?

The solution we came up with is SKRT. By combining our passions for travel and technology, we can make travel better.

Our vision

For the past year and a half, after countless hours of development and meetings, we are making our concept a reality. Our vision is simple; to give our users the power. Riders should have the power to travel with ease. Owners should have the power to put their scooter to work for them. Our job is to make the process fair, safe and convenient, so we can all focus on enjoying the open road.

Every interaction we have is important to us. We started SKRT because we want to get out there and enjoy the world. We want our users to be able to do the same. We strive to make the world a better place. Why should there be more vehicles on the road, when there are already plenty. Let's share what we already have. Let's enrich as many lives as possible.

Our brand

Branding should match vision. After careful contemplation we have arrived with a logo and palette that represents us. We welcome the winding road that awaits us. We long to explore beyond the horizon. Green means go! Green is the color of nature, and reminds us of our appreciation for the environment. Plus, the logo looks like a road sign; that's pretty neat too.
